When I met Leonie it was a bright sunny day in North Perth. People were having lots of cappuccinos. Kids were having fun painting on paper umbrellas and making humongous bubbles with strange looking instruments. It was only natural to feel child like curiosity looking at her colouful yet sophisticated jewellery nicely laid out amongst many stalls at Cappuccino festival. I then had pleasure of seeing her again at unwrapped in Subiaco this week.
A lot of people commented on her purple and silver ‘rose’ ring. I forgot to ask her what it was called when I found it because I was so busy taking a shot of that awesome ring. Mind you, it was just a little heavy to take a picture at that perfect angle. Leonie being such a lovely model we had several attempts and I think we managed it rather well.
After sampling some of her gorgeous silver pieces I don’t think I can possibly go back to shopping at big chain jewellers any more. Who can really? I’d better save some money and start thinking about owning at least one piece from pelava. If you like to sample pelava and meet Leonie yourself, check out the events listing in her website. It so happens that there are lots happening in this month.
