Spring 09 collection from Sussan

It was cold this morning, sunny but only 10C. It was nice though after having days of rain. I put on a faux fur jacket and rugged up with a pair of riding boots. During the lunch hour, I decided to go outside to get some fresh air and went to Westfield Carousel.

I haven’t done much shopping lately for one reason or another. Too busy I suppose, going to events and meeting people. When I walked into Sussan I found a blue cardi with a biased cut, silk scarf, a ring, a top and a couple of bags. All that set me back a couple of hundred of dollars. I asked the sales lady to pack away my fur jacket and walked out of the shopping centre wearing new stuff. The air was fresh but warm. Spring is here. Still cold in the morning but it has warmth in the air. My fig trees already have new buds coming up.

After having a look at the Sussan’s spring collection I think I’ll be back there very soon. I’m such a sucker for good looking catalogs and Sussan hasn’t disappointed me so far (see my other post on sussan for fall and winter collection). They must have really good stylists – or those who speak my style language. I love everything I see here. The only thing is to go into one of the stores and try them out. The process of elimination is in order since I can’t get everything.

Style Circle just posted a full list of WA fashion awards nominees. I’ve been chasing that for days. It seems they didn’t want me having the list until they release it online. Fair enough. I’ll have a full list for you tomorrow with some pictures. After that I have another full-0n month coming up. Keep warm and stay healthy because once it gets warm in Perth there are lots of stuff to do outside as you know. Ciao for now.
