Skattwalk 2009 – Haute Couture & In the Jungle

What’s Skatt? I didn’t know what it was until I received the invitation for the show to be honest. According to the media pack and looking at the promotional materials in the goodie bag, it is a full service salon aimed at young people. When they say full service it includes hair, skin, body tan and the whole works. I guess it’s a bit like day spa+hair+tanning salon. Does it sound like a dream place? It does to me. It’s interesting that I haven’t seen the place yet. Skatt has three branches all owned and managed by 25 year old Lisa Grinceri. Guess when she first open Skatt? When she was 19. Intrigued? I was so I requested an interview so I’ll have to wait and see if my request gets a favourable response from the lady Lisa herself.

Basically, skattwalk is her way of getting together creative talent in hair, fashion, makeup and stage show in one place. That’s enough of background information you think? Let’s have some pickies then.
