Fiesta opening night

While Perth’s warm weather is still hanging around some local councils are organising small festivals following on from the city’s main international arts festival. As a South Perth resident I thought it would be worthwhile going down to the foreshore to witness the festivity of the Fiesta opening.

With thousands of people gathered on the waterfront there was plenty of entertainment – Ian Moss was singing on the stage. Instead of enjoying the concert I was more attracted to a little stall called GlowMan. I wasn’t the only one who thought it was cool obviously.

The night’s enterainment was ended with a small fireworks display. Nice. It was good enough to make me forget about all complicated and stressful things at work I need to go back to on Monday.

I hear Stefan is in Melbourne ‘attending’ the Melbourne Fashion Week‘s launch party just now. I might be able to get some pics as soon as he finishes uploading on to the Internet each day – a little like drip feeding. I don’t actually know what to expect as I haven’t been following the scene for more than three months. As we all know a lot can happen in three months. Have a good week everyone.
