Breakfast at the Secret Garden Cafe

After having a really rough week, there’s nothing better than waking up and stroll down to a local cafe for lazy coffee and breakfast on Saturday morning. We cheated and drove down there although the cafe is in about 5 minute walking distance. When I said, lazy I really meant it.

Secret Garden Cafe from Angela St.

Secret Garden Cafe is an interesting place. From the street it doesn’t look anything like what lies beyond the front door. Just grab a bottle of water with chilled glasses from the fridge with a couple of menus and walk through to the garden. You will then realise why it is named so.

I usually go all the way deep into the garden and sit right under the huge grapevine tree grown over a genuine Hills Hoist (clothes line). This is our favourite spot for breakfast on a sunny day. We were there this morning and I cannot that deny that we might be there again tomorrow morning. It’s Sunday after all.

Food: wholesome, rustic good food, best chips in town
Price: enormous omelette (enough for two) is $15.00 AUD

Address: 64 Angelo St, South Perth, WA 6151 Tel: (08) 9367 5597

{These photos were taken with Nikon FE when we were out having lunch last Sunday, now you can easily tell that I’m rubbish at taking photos with films. The slide film was developed and scanned at Fitzgerald Photo.}
