2009 is here but I am not ready yet

New Year's day just came and went. I slept in until midday so I didn't have much of a day. It's already 2 January 2009 but I'm still living in '2008'. I haven't got any resolutions (oh boy I've seen so many blog posts with New Year's resolutions today). I'm still recovering from the longest dance marathon I had on the New Year's Eve at The Bakery. Boobie and body shaking for over 4 hours could not have been possible if it wasn't for Gilles Peterson. He appeared just after midnight and his session went until 2:30 AM. I wouldn't have believed it if someone told me  that I'd be dancing with strangers at a club past 2 am at the age of 34. You see, I never went clubbing much in my 20s. I was busy being a housewife. It's like going backwards. If you watched The Curious Case of Benjamin Button* you'd know what I mean.

One thing I'm not doing much lately is posting my outfit photos. I'm doing one for you today just in case you forgot what I look like. Oh .. that was very lame-o.  Anyway, this is what I wore for the New Year's Eve countdown 'dance marathon'. There was more bling than you can poke a stick at. It was so much so that I could have scared off crows. These shots really don't do justice for the amount of bling I had on.. another thing. That top was actually 'backless'. 

I put my hand up to go to another party in Subiaco tonight. It's called Fashion VIP @ Goldbar. I'm so not one of those (VIP) but I will be a good sport and enjoy the party. Has anyone been to Goldbar in Subi yet?

As you can see, it's just another day in Style Discovery. I don't know when I will be fully embrassing the New Year and start dishing out my resolutions.
