Shopping

Mid season sale is upon us in Perth. I  noticed a ‘not so subtle’ ‘sale’ sign at the local Oroton boutique so I went in  to have a look. I decided to grab a few things for Christmas. You may say  it’s a little too early. Well, most of you have already seen Xmas decorations for sale so I say start early to avoid stree.  I won’t tell  you what I bought and for whom I bought.

oroton

I walked out of the boutique carrying three of these today.

As some of you may know from looking at my profile I follow many blogs*. If you follow as many blogs as I do you would  understand the kind of inspiration and temptation you get from these blogs. I  couldn’t help but to collect, stare and drool over these findings from my fellow bloggers.

polyvore_kye

I saw this at brujadcuento’s blog. You can also find each item in polyvore. They are not cheap apart from the bangles which are already sold out. I did find similar bangles at Diva today though.

silk_vintage_jcrew

I found these via Please Sir. I was initally thinking of buying some slik flowers from carft shops but today I saw really nice ones at sussan which I could tie my hair with or put on my jacket or a hat. You can see that my heart is already set to buy one of these.

As you saw in my various  outfits, I do buy unusual things. A couple of weeks ago, I bought these  canvas shoes at Cotton On. I got them at a  reduced price of $5.00.  I’ve already  worn them once. I won’t tell you how I wore them. I would like to hear from you how you’d wear them. What would you pair  them with? There are no right and wrong answers of course. It’s only a matter  of one’s style. If I like what I hear I may well try that look and post it  here for you. What would you say?

{*I do follow a lot but there are others I read but not have them listed as “I follow” so you now know how many blogs I read. Or do you? :) }

Yeah, I saw in your profile that you really do follow many blogs ^^ But it's a good idea starting with christmas shopping already. I always do it last minute, which isn't always that great.
    The Dulken&Derrik flowers are great.
I would wear the canvas shoes with white skinny jeans and an oversized knit sweater, white and really inky blue striped and an XXL leather bag.

A nice selection of items, I couldn’t agree more about the inspiration one gets from all the fabulous fashion bloggers….I’m loving the oversize red and white jersey, and the red bikers jacket is sweet too.

    that ombre sweater is gorgeous.
and the flowers are lovely too

also the sneaker/boots are pretty cute. maybe with some slim boyish jeans stacking on top of them or casual tucked into slim khaki chinos.

Wow, I am not much of a sneaker gal, but I do like those. I’d wear them with black tights, a red miniskirt, and a big boxy cowlneck sweater.

I don’t even know how many blogs I follow, let alone how many YOU follow! I follow many more than are in my lineup, too.

The shoes . . . . I’d wear them with the obvious skinny jeans. Or a mini.

I love the red leather jacket in that first photo collage!

  15. Skye 25. Sep, 2008 at 9:03 pm #

I think I’d wear those shoes with the silver version of my AA shiny lame leggings, a big bat winged t-shirt and a colourful big layered scarf.

I want to see how you wore them though!

As for the domain, I left a comment for you in your blog.
There are lots of articles out there you can use but http://www.bloggerbuster.com/2007/06/how-to-set-up-your-blogger-custom.html

This was helpful for me to set up my own domain for this blog.

A shopping mall or shopping centre is a building or set of buildings that contain a variety of retail units, with interconnecting walkways enabling visitors to easily walk from unit to unit.Strip malls have developed since the 1920s, corresponding to the rise of suburban living in the United States after World War II.

    love those shoes!
i’d wear them with nearly anything that showed off their cute buttons (ie no long pants that cover them).

  34. miss cavendish 27. Sep, 2008 at 1:42 pm #

You know, I think it was this post that reminded me that I wanted to buy those darn flowers. The Web site kept saying “coming soon . . .” but when I checked again, they were all gone!

  35. ♥ fashion chalet 27. Sep, 2008 at 2:14 pm #

Yeah, the upside of following so much fashion blogs is that I need not buy fashion magazines unless if I adore the woman on the cover. :D
