Day 7 Perth Fashion Festival – 2008 Design Awards

This is it. The last event of the festival. Mercedes Benz Fashion Awards. Tonight we found out who was going to be our next Gemma Ward (she is a Perth girl in case you didn’t know), winner of the student designer award and other industry fashion award winners.

First up.. did you guess it right from my previous post on the student designer award?

I failed to show this design in my previous post just because my shot wasn’t quite good enough. Here’s my second attempt!

Couldn’t pass up the opportunity to take a picture with the winner Leanne Lim.

I really was happy for her. I just never learnt to smile properly.

Yo! Finally this is going to be last chance to mingle with these fab photographers. This is the first time I put my own pictures from the festival. Finally I got out of the jeans and tee look!

{for our next ‘Gemma Ward’ you will have to wait. I’ll post it tomorrow or the day after – after all it just happened about an hour ago.}

    gemma ward has always intrigued me, and since she made such a big splash i think the next model will have some big shoes to fill :p

    my fav part of your outfit is the necklace. i dont see red beads very often!
