Colour me beautiful

Trinny and Susannah have been banging on about ‘wearing colour with colour’ for years. I now see explosion of colours every where. Is it that I’m more aware of colours or the result of their effort in educating us the ‘black addicts’ to incorporate more colours instead of resorting to ‘lazy black’? I call the colour (or the lack of it) black ‘lazy’ for a very personal reason. Black is indeed what I look brilliant in without much effort. I think so anyway. With near black hair and eye colour, black is what I used to wear almost all the time with matching black accessories. As I incorporate colours in my wardrobe palette slowly and steadily I do get tempted to go all out and be adventurous. The result? Two pairs of near florescent turquoise blue and deep purple jeans I picked up for $8 AUD each!

The current issue of Shop til drop has just the thing for a colour fix. Colour me beautiful, I say! Too bad that the model is dreadfully skinny. Full colour attire might be still too challenging for some. Myriad of colourful accessories are out there to tempt us, the colour challenged.
